Published by Jandaíra and organized by researchers Michael França and Alysson Portella, *Numbers of Racial Discrimination: Human Development, Equity, and Public Policies* analyzes the articulations of racial discrimination in Brazil from an economic perspective. Chapters are developed by researchers affiliated with the Center for Racial Studies at Insper and invited contributors who produce knowledge on the subject. I created illustrations for the cover and internal pages, which accompany chapter openings. Some references to photographs of Brazilian inequalities were included to inform the composition of the images, in addition to my own series of reappropriated images of wet nurses from the Brazilian colonial period.
